The Inbox is your gateway to building your crew database. Each organization is assigned a unique email address. When recruiters or crew members send emails with resumes and certificates to this address, Sterndesk's AI analyzes the content and attachments to create structured crew profiles automatically.

Next steps:
  • Forward emails with crew documents you've received in your own personal inbox to your organization's unique Sterndesk email.
  • Review the generated crew profiles in the Candidates section.


Job postings

In the Job Postings section, recruiters can create and manage vacancies that appear on the corporate career site. Customize job postings, add relevant filters, and monitor applications received through the site.

The Candidates section houses all crew profiles, whether imported via the Inbox or received through job applications. Utilize advanced filters to search and manage candidate information efficiently.

Organization profile settings

Tailor Sterndesk to fit your organization's branding and workflow in the Organization Profile Settings.

What is a Pipeline? A pipeline represents the stages a candidate goes through during the recruitment process (e.g., New, Reviewed, Interviewing, Hired). By assigning a pipeline to a job posting, all applicants follow the same structured path, ensuring clarity and consistency.

Sterndesk's powerful Search functionality allows you to locate candidates based on specific criteria, such as experience, certifications, or other keywords.
